David brings a diverse and extensive background in accounting and information technology. After earing a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma in just three years, he began his career in technical support for a business information systems designer, where he provided training, data conversion, and client support. With 27 years of experience in the industry, David has held senior roles as an accountant and controller, in addition to spending seven years in public accounting, where he specialized in preparing federal and state tax returns and providing assurance services.

David holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and is nearing the completion of a second Master’s in Accounting, with a concentration in audit, from Syracuse University. He has been a licensed CPA since 1994, initially in Oklahoma, and received reciprocity for his CPA certification in Alaska in 2019. David is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Originally from Wyoming, David has a passion for outdoor adventures, having successfully climbed Devil’s Tower three times, the first time when he was 15. He also enjoys photography and wood carving in his spare time.
